In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers are investigating the circumstances of a fatal traffic accident.
The accident occurred on the morning of April 9 in the Emelyanovsky district, 25 km of the Verkhnyaya Biryusa-Zeledeevo-Ibrul highway. According to preliminary data, the driver of a VAZ-2106 drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a Toyota Hilux driven by a 62-year-old driver.
As a result of the accident, the 38-year-old driver of a domestic car died at the scene from his injuries. Police officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
The traffic police reminded that driving into the oncoming lane must be done with extreme caution and only in permitted places. 80% of head-on collisions are fatal. Always consider road and weather conditions when choosing your speed.
