I overeat on pancakes for Maslenitsa and don’t get fat: I’m sharing a recipe for PP products for those losing weight

Pancakes are a traditional dish for Maslenitsa, but, as you know, they are not very healthy products. They contain a lot of flour and are fried in oil, so this high-calorie delicacy cannot be called dietary. But what can you do when on Maslenitsa you’re tempted to enjoy fragrant pancakes, but you don’t want to spoil your figure? Very simple! Use PP recipes when preparing.

So, we suggest replacing wheat flour with oatmeal. It’s high in fiber and low in fast carbohydrates, which means you’ll feel full quickly and for a long time, but at the same time reduce the number of calories you eat. And the best part is that you don’t even have to buy such flour – process regular oatmeal in a blender, and that’s it, the oatmeal is ready!

Ingredients:

  • oatmeal – 2 tbsp;
  • chicken egg – 3 pcs.;
  • milk – 2 tbsp;
  • sugar – 0.5 tbsp. l.;
  • salt – 0.5 tsp;
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp. l.

Beat eggs and salt, add milk and sugar and mix again. Add flour, add butter and stir until smooth. Heat the frying pan and pour the dough in portions, spreading it over the entire bottom. Fry on each side for 20-30 minutes.

Due to the fact that oil has already been added to the dough, you do not have to grease the bottom of the pan with it every time – a few times during cooking are enough, and therefore the pancakes will turn out to be less fatty and high in calories. And to enhance the dietary effect of such products, serve them with natural yogurt or wrap them with healthy fillings, for example, cottage cheese and red fish or fruits and berries.
