“Six to seven out of 10.” Syrsky assessed the mobilization in Ukraine

As Syrsky noted, if previously the main problem was the shortage of ammunition and missiles, now the main challenge is the lack of personnel.

“Ask any commander at the front now: if two years ago these were shells, these were missiles, now these are people. Prepared, educated, ready to fulfill their military duty,” the commander-in-chief emphasized.

He also noted that mobilization remains the main source of replenishment of the Armed Forces, so the state must ensure the legality and transparency of this process.

“Our task is to make this process as comfortable as possible for people, without violating the law and its procedures,” he noted.

Assessing the mobilization in Ukraine, Syrsky gave it “six to seven out of 10” and noted the need for both more people and better training.

“I would like to receive better trained people, as well as more motivated military personnel who do not leave military units and carry out assigned tasks,” Syrsky said.

Commenting on the concept of “fair mobilization,” Syrsky said that it consists in the equal performance of military duty by all citizens.

“Of course, there is justice when all citizens must fulfill their military duty. When there is no division between those who are subject to mobilization and those who are not, having every reason to be mobilized… Now, when the aggressor is advancing, we must fulfill our duty. We must protect the state, protect our children, all our relatives and friends,” the general emphasized.
