Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have become less likely to be poisoned by alcohol, drugs and medications

In 2025, 3,754 were registered among residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory cases of chemical poisoning. This is 11% less than in the previous year, Rospotrebnadzor reported.

As before, the bulk of the victims are unemployed – 60.1% or 2,257 cases. Most often these are men – 71.5% or 2,686 people.

Approximately every fifth poisoning resulted in death – 726 cases.

“In the structure of causes, as before, alcohol-containing products are in first place (1,434 cases), drugs are in second place (919 cases), and medicines are in third place (692 cases). It is worth noting that last year no cases of vaping poisoning were registered among residents of our region,” Rospotrebnadzor said.
