Feshak said that he was among those who were sent the “hour-long” video. He admitted that he “looked at a couple of frames,” noting the singer’s new hair color, as well as her partner.
According to the presenter, he had the impression that he could previously see this man at social events.
“I saw his face somewhere. I have the impression that I constantly saw him somewhere at some kind of parties, show business concerts, that he seemed to be walking in here. Or he was some kind of musician,” Feshak said. “Perhaps they just started some kind of romance, some kind of communication, and only then he thought to himself: “Oh, yes, he can make some money right there.”
What happened
On the night of January 19, many Ukrainian Telegram channels reported that they were sent an intimate video with the participation of Elena Topoli. It is not specified who exactly sent it. The authors of many public pages stated that they would not publish the video and expressed support for the artist.
Poplar herself said that On January 10, they began to blackmail her with intimate videos and demanded money. According to the artist, she contacted the police.
On the afternoon of January 19, law enforcement officers reported the detention of a 23-year-old Kiev resident, who is suspected of blackmailing the artist.
The man was detained under Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Investigators informed him of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 27, part 4 art. 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (extortion).
The singer's ex-husband, Ukrainian artist Taras Topolya, said that he was also sent a video with her participation, after which he contacted the police.
“The video contains a detailed, naturalistic demonstration of genitals and sexual intercourse, which is aimed solely at arousing the viewer’s sexual desire, which gives grounds to qualify this content as containing signs of pornography,” Topol wrote in a statement.
What the police say
A crime suspect looks like this. The police said that he was acquainted with the singer, gained her trust and prepared compromising materials.
