MTS strengthened the covering of the network in the area of the landscaped eastern entrance to the National Park “Krasnoyarsk Pillars”, where parking, a visit center, a former granite quarry, a small coffee shop, a playing area and an observation deck, with which a TABLA rock opens.
The attendance of the routes of the eastern entrance reaches several thousand visitors on a weekend. The digital upgrade will allow visitors at the entrance to the park to lay a convenient and interesting route, as well as share photos of natural attractions in social networks.
“MTS continues to contribute to the development of ecotourism in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Earlier, we launched a smart video monitoring system in the Fanpark “Beaver Log”, which in real time analyzes the slope of trees growing along the cable roads, monitors the movement of the lifts and reveals freelance situations. In the Ecopark “Gremyye Gryva” we launched the first guide-aidihide guide with augmented reality elements, helping tourists and citizens virtually get acquainted with prehistoric animals and rare plants of Siberia. As a digital ecosystem, we also plan to create new opportunities to explore the Krasnoyarsk Territory – including its business card, the National Park “Krasnoyarsk Pillars”, ”said Sergey Egoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The National Park “Krasnoyarsk Pillars” is one of the most visited in Russia. On the weekend, up to 20 thousand visitors pass along the most popular route of “Central Pillars”, and according to the results of 2024, the number of visits to the national park exceeded a million people.
The main attraction is the rocks, while not only rocky arrays, but also some large stones (Ermak, Chinese wall, grandfather, grandmother, feathers, sparrows and so on) have their own names. More than 50 species living here are listed in the lists of the Red Books of the Russian Federation and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, for example, plants – CALIPSO Bulca, shoes – real and large -flowered, Maisky finger, as well as poultry – blooper, Baloban and others.
