In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 211 families in which twins and triplets were born in 2025 received support from the state. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Social Policy.
Through the introduction of a proactive mechanism for assigning payments, parents of 423 children received financial assistance without personally contacting social protection authorities. This initiative is part of the regional program and the national project “Family”, which are aimed at strengthening family values and increasing the birth rate.
“Having several children at the same time is a double or even triple responsibility. State financial support in such cases is a necessary tool that helps families cope with increased costs for food, clothing, medical care and creating comfortable conditions for children,” said Irina Pastukhova, Minister of Social Policy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The basic size of a lump sum payment in 2026, taking into account indexation, is 74,506 rubles. However, depending on the place of residence of the family, a regional coefficient is applied to this amount. Thus, for residents of the city of Krasnoyarsk and most districts of the region, the payment for each child is 96,859 rubles, and for Norilsk – 134,112 rubles.
Let us remind you that since July 2023 in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the initiative of Governor Mikhail Kotyukov, the process of receiving a lump sum payment for the birth of twins and triplets has been significantly simplified. Now, under the “State for the People” program, specialists from social protection agencies independently monitor information from registry offices about the birth of twins and triplets. After receiving the data, they contact the parents to clarify the details and transfer the benefit.
If for some reason the payment was not automatically assigned, parents have the right to apply for it within three years from the date of birth of the children.
