
Spring is the perfect time to tone up your body and prepare for the summer season. To keep your skin smooth, toned and glowing, you don’t have to run to the salon: a simple homemade scrub with ginger will give you a powerful anti-cellulite effect. The recipe was shared by the author of the Zen blog “Recipes for Natural Cosmetics” (12+).
For a fat burning scrub you will need:
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root;
- ½ cup Epsom salt or magnesium salt;
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Ginger activates blood circulation and starts the process of breaking down fat deposits, salt draws out excess fluid and smoothes out the “orange peel”, and lemon tones, brightens and enhances the drainage effect.
How to prepare a scrub in a couple of minutes:
Cut the ginger into small pieces, load the blender and grind to a fine paste. Transfer the mixture to a convenient container, add salt, pour in lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
The scrub is ready to use immediately – there is no need to store it for a long time, it is better to make a fresh portion before each use.
How to use for maximum effect:
Take a little mixture in your palms and begin an energetic massage: move from the ankles up to the thighs and buttocks, working out problem areas with circular and patting movements. Take your time – 5-7 minutes of active massage increases blood flow and helps the components penetrate deeper. After the procedure, take a warm shower and apply a moisturizer.
After the first use, the skin will become more elastic and tightened. With regular use, cellulite tubercles will smooth out and body contours will become clearer.
Important: do not use the product if you are allergic to the components, as well as any damage or irritation after depilation.
