Over the past 24 hours, 17 fires have occurred in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Thus, according to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, one person died due to a fire in a five-story building on Zheleznodorozhnikov Street in Krasnoyarsk. The fire was contained to an area of 5 square meters. Before firefighters arrived, 24 people evacuated the building on their own.
The man was found without signs of life. The ambulance that arrived at the scene only confirmed the death of the victim. According to the preliminary version, the fire occurred due to careless handling of fire.
In Nazarovo, a fire broke out in an apartment in an eight-story building in the 8th microdistrict. The smoke and gas protection service rescued four people by evacuating them along flights of stairs. Among those rescued was an injured man who was pulled from an apartment engulfed in fire. The fire area was 6 square meters and was caused by a short circuit.
