In Krasnoyarsk, a former sushi delivery chef will stand trial for stealing money from a colleague. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.

The incident occurred in November last year. A catering worker contacted the police duty station with a statement about the loss of 13.5 thousand rubles from her wallet. The woman discovered the lack of money at the end of the working day.

Law enforcement officers It was established that no one except them enters the locker room, where the lockers for personal belongings of employees are located. At the same time, one of the catering cooks did not show up for her shift the next day, and the police’s suspicion fell on her.

“During operational activities, criminal investigation officers located the suspect and detained her. The police found out that an employee born in 2007 entered the staff room while no one was looking and took money out of her bag. She spent the stolen funds on personal needs,” the regional police said.

According to this fact a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The thief faces up to five years in prison.

The criminal investigation has now been completed.
