In addition, the Ukrainian president said he congratulated Trump on concluding the Middle East peace agreement, calling it an “outstanding achievement.”
“If a war can be stopped in one region, then other wars can certainly be stopped as well, including Russia's,” Zelensky wrote. Finally, he thanked the US president and emphasized that Russia must be ready to engage in real diplomacy, and this can be achieved through force.
Massive Russian attack
On Friday, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, hitting its energy infrastructure. The AFP agency pointed out that Moscow tries every year to destroy Ukraine's energy infrastructure in winter. In Kiev, water was temporarily cut off to 2 million customers on Friday.
