Berezovsky and Nazarovsky incisions released more than 50 thousand fry of the Siberian sturgeon into the Chuhm River.

The event was held in the village of Old Birilysses together with specialists of the Yenisei Territorial Directorate of Rosrybolovstvo.

The fry grown at a specialized fishing enterprise reached the optimal age and body weight in about 1 gram, which provides the best survival in the natural environment. Specialists provided comfortable transportation conditions, maintaining a stable water temperature and constant enrichment of oxygen.

The preservation of the biodiversity of the aquatic ecosystems of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is one of the events within the framework of the comprehensive environmental program of Suek-Krasnoyarsk, aimed at restoring the natural resources of the region. The Siberian sturgeon has been included in the Red Book since 1998, and such shares have become a regular tradition. Every year, coal mining enterprises produce thousands of sturgeon individuals and other valuable types of fish, including grayling.

It should be noted that the environmental activities of Suek-Krasnoyarsk covers a whole complex of measures to preserve the environment: reclamation of the waste territories, reducing the volume of pollutants, energy conservation and efficient processing of wastewater, through the construction of modern treatment facilities.
