How Rodică Stănoiu's boyfriend reacted after the exhumation of the former Minister of Justice: the first public statement

The exhumation of Rodică Stănoiu has reignited speculations regarding the last days of the life of the former Minister of Justice. Her partner, Marius Calotă, refused to give explanations, declaring that “justice will do its job”, while the investigators continue the investigation into the suspicious death.

The lifeless body of Rodică Stănoiu, former Minister of Justice, was exhumed on Monday morning, after prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Ilfov Court decided to investigate her death as suspicious.
Rodică Stănoiu's life partner, Marius Calotă, a 33-year-old jurist, avoided commenting on the accusations and said he preferred to let justice do its job.
“I don't want to comment on these things. We let justice do its job. I'm sure he will do it without fail”said Calotă, writes observer.
According to the preliminary results of the necropsy, carried out at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, the death was not caused by violence, as no injuries were identified that would have led to the death of the former dignitary.
Medical examiners are yet to complete an autopsy and perform toxicology tests to clarify the exact circumstances of death and determine whether advanced age was the main factor or if there were other causes.
The prosecutor's office self-reported after information about the circumstances of the death appeared in the press. The prosecutors stated that, following the analysis of the evidence, a more detailed investigation of the last period of the former dignitary's life was required, including the verification of possible traces of violence and other aspects related to her personal life.
For this purpose, the medical documents from the Floreasca and Alexandru Obregia hospitals were requested, and the people who could provide details about the last days of Rodică Stănoiu are to be interviewed.
Rodica Stănoiu suffered from dementia, Alzheimer's and heart conditions
Medical sources stated that Rodica Stănoiu had rib fractures, blows to the head and eye area and was malnourished. The former minister was hospitalized in two hospitals before her death.
Initially, she arrived at the Floreasca Hospital, where she was hospitalized between September 30 and October 3. The former minister had minor brain trauma and minor rib fractures, following an accidental fall. At the same time, Rodica Stănoiu suffered from dementia, Alzheimer's and heart conditions.
Later, she was transferred to “Alexandru Obregia” Hospital. According to sources, she was malnourished and had bruises on her head and eyes. From Obregia, the former minister was discharged on the signature of her lover, a man about 50 years younger, with whom she had a five-year relationship.
Rodica Stănoiu died at home, shortly after discharge.
