The enemy inflicted on the positions of Ukrainian divisions and settlements 60 aircraft shocks, dropping 97 guided bombs, made more than 5.4 thousand shelling, of which 106 were from rocket lapsing systems, and attracted 2.9 thousand drones-kamikadze.
Aviation, missile forces and artillery of defense forces struck seven areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a ware of ammunition and another important goal of Russian invaders.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy took offensive operations six times, in Kupyansky – four, Limansky – 16, Seversky – three, Kramatorsky – nine, Eight, Pokrovsky – 75, Novopavlovsky – 23, Orekhovsky – Dnieper – one.
In the Kursk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reflected 14 attacks of Russians. In addition, the enemy inflicted 12 aviation shots with the use of 18 guided air bombs, and also made 236 artillery shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, including eight of the rocket systems of salvo fire.
According to the General Staff, the losses of the invaders for May 15 are 1.1 thousand people. Ukrainian warriors neutralized 13 enemy tanks, 32 military armored vehicles, 36 artillery systems, one reactive system of volley fire, one air defense, 123 unmanned aerial vehicles of the operational-tactical level and 166 units of automotive equipment.
Context
The Russian Federation unleashed a war against Ukraine in 2014, when she occupied Crimea and parts of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. On February 24, 2022, Russia began a full -scale invasion of Ukraine from the northern, eastern and southern directions. In the spring of the same year, the Ukrainian army discovered the north of the country, in the fall – units of the Kharkov and Kherson regions, in particular, Kherson.
In June 2024, the Russian army began the invasion in the north of the Kharkov region, the battles for Volchansk continued. Since August 6, 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine perform an operation in the territory of the aggressor country-in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Since April 2025, the Ukrainian military has been conducting operations in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
