“As the President of the United States, I oppose the countries that attack our wonderful American technology companies,” said Trump in the entry on the Truth Social portal.
He added that digital taxes, digital services and regulations on digital markets were created to “hurt or discriminate against American technology.”
According to him, these funds “completely skip the largest Chinese technology companies”, which he assessed as scandalous.
“This must end and it ends now. With this post on the TRUTH network I notify all countries with digital taxes, regulations, rules, regulations that as long as these discriminatory measures apply in them, I, as the US president, will impose a significant duties on export from these countries to the USA and introduce export limitation to our very protected technology and the chip,” he wrote.
He emphasized that the US and American technology companies are no longer a world “piggy bank” or “pushing”.
