Artmark announces a new History auction – scheduled on June 24, from 18.00, which proposes a wide selection of objects with significance for all the periods through which the Romanian space (and not only) went. The catalog opens up with antiquity, presenting The famous Dacian weapon – Sicadated sec. I.Hr.-sec. I D.Hr. It is a piece with a special museum value, which has in this event a starting price of 700 euros. Sica was a short sword or a long dagger used by Thracians, Dacians and iliation from ancient, but also in ancient Rome. In the oldest kept representations, Sica appears in the form of a curved sword. Various copies of “Sica” have been discovered on the territory of several countries, such as Albania, Romania, Bosnia, Bulgaria and Serbia. The image of the Sica sword can also be seen on Trajan's Column, including the method in which Decebal's suicide is illustrated. Sica represents a significant historical artifact, which, due to its role in the Thracian world, contributes to the understanding of the social and military mechanisms of this society.

In terms of weapons and military objects the same auction also presents other special pieces in Europe, Asia and Africa, as are two Persian hats, both Kulah Khuddated sec. XVIII-XIX, one with a starting price of only 300 euros, the other, decorated with the motifs of the sun and peacockwith the starting price of 500 euros. In the same selection of significant objects in the history of the world is found and A samurai armor – Gusoku type, Japanfrom the EDO period (approx. 1800). It is a rare piece of collection, with a price of 3,000 euros. The auction also proposes a wide range of weapons and military objects.

Draws attention to this auction of history and a unique collection of photos, documents and objects from his archive Petru Groza (December 7, 1884-January 7, 1958)-former lawyer and politician, prime minister in the first communist governments of Romania, between 1945 and 1952. The copy includes the original portrait photo, with its holographic signature. It has a starting price of 500 euros.
