In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, employees of the Directorate for specially protected natural territories together with caring citizens will put things in order on the banks of the Mana River.
Cleaning will be held on August 22-23 as part of the annual environmental campaign “Clean Bereg Mana” traditionally at the end of the rafting season on the river. They plan to clean 30 tourist sites from garbage.
This year, participants in the action will accept a new environmental challenge to the All -Russian campaign “I choose clean air” using the “ecotrequer of green habits”: they will pass on rafts along the coast of the river in the suburbs of Krasnoyarsk – from the village to seize to the village of Mansky. In the direction of movement, the coastline will stop.
“In the summer, tens of thousands of people are rafting, mass events are held on the coast, and hiking tourist routes also run here. After raids and the organization of parking for the night on the banks of rivers and in the forests, people often leave garbage. Participating in the “Clean shores of Mana”, the directorate, together with the residents of the region, show a personal example how important it is to be careful about nature. We hope that for tourists it will become a habit of respect for the natural wealth of the region and not leave garbage in places of rest, ”said Alexei Bolshakov, First Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Forest Complex.
The order in the coastal territories of rivers and lakes are brought to all municipalities of the region as part of the federal projects “Water of Russia” and “Clean Air” of the National Project “Environmental Welfare”. Carried residents, volunteers, representatives of authorities and public organizations take part in eco -fitting.
