This year, 260 stores, and at least 400 in the future – are Kaufland plans in Poland. However, investments in a completely different sector than trade are also planned.

Kaufland has been operating in Poland for nearly 24 years. During this time he launched 253 supermarkets here. The plan is to open at least seven stores this year.

At least 400 supermarkets?

Currently, the most important for her is to increase profitability and investment, which aims to strengthen her position on the Polish retail market.

Not only trade?

It turns out that Kaufland also intends to start operating on the real estate market. There are plans to build at least a three -storey facility in Poznańwhere warehouses, technical rooms and parking will be located on the ground floor, and on the first floor – commercial, service and gastronomic space. In turn, apartments for rent will be built on the upper floors.

According to the investor, such a combination of commercial and residential functions would be attractive for future tenants. However, for Kaufland, it is a chance to diversify activities.
