Graduates of RusHydro-Class in Kodinsk completed a three-year training course

In Kodinsk, nine graduates of the 2025 RusHydro-Class of 2025 received certificates of completing the training course and the successful completion of theoretical tasks and practical tasks set by a rich program of additional education.

By tradition, during the graduation eleventh graders took part in team games, demonstrated knowledge of special engineering disciplines, general erudition, logical thinking and the ability to work in a team. The RusHydro-Class project is implemented under the leadership of the Corporate University of the Hydropower of RusHydro PJSC and gives additional points when entering universities-partner energy holding.

“Congratulations to graduates on the successful completion of the first vocational training cycle! We are already familiar with these guys – the station employees conducted classes and excursions for them, performed experts in technical competitions, and schoolchildren participated in competitions and tournaments organized by the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station. I am sure that among today's graduates there are those who will come to work in our team in a few years. The RusHydro-Class project (previously energy class) started in Kodinsk in 2011, eleven issues took place. Classes are held on the basis of the Center for Additional Education of Children. Schoolchildren gain additional knowledge in mathematics and physics, study the work of a single energy system, energy conservation methods and other disciplines. During their studies, schoolchildren take part in the district, regional and all -Russian championships and competitions, carry out assignments of selection for the right to participate in the “Summer Energy School”, the program “Energy Start” and the industry Olympiad in physics.

Successful training of schoolchildren is facilitated by the constant support of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station. At the funds of the station, the Center regularly updates furniture, computer equipment and curricula, acquires equipment for interactive classes. In 2025, according to the program of charitable and sponsorship of Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station JSC, the center will acquire a virtual reality class, in which schoolchildren will be able to receive and develop new skills within the framework of the “Career Guide” course.

For students of the ninth and tenth grades, who still have to continue the training course in RusHydro-class, a traditional tour of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station took place. Schoolchildren examined the museum in the lobby of the service and production building, studied the current model of the hydraulic unit in the section and learned about the stages of construction of the station. In the machine room, the operational service staff told schoolchildren about the operation of the oil -tank installation, braking systems and transformer protection, showed an elegazine switch. From the observation deck, the excursion participants examined the unique stepped water supply, then looked into the transformer sinus and went down to the generator floor.

RusHydro-Class is one of the mechanisms for the implementation of the program of the advanced development of the personnel potential “From the new school to the workplace”. The project has been implemented since 2010 in the regions of the presence of the RusHydro group on the basis of partner educational organizations. The purpose of the project is the professional orientation of schoolchildren in grades 9-11, the popularization of the energy profession, acquaintance with the energy industry and the activities of the RusHydro group, as well as the support of the engineering and technical creativity of students. During the implementation of the project, 85% of energy class graduates chose specialized areas of training at technical universities, including in the company's universities: MAI, the Volga branch of the MAI, the SAA-Shushensky branch of the Siberian Federal District, regularly undergoes practice at the company's energy facilities. In 2024, all graduates of the relevant class from Kodinsk successfully entered universities and technical schools.
