Two more libraries were capitalized in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, after major renovations, two libraries were opened – in the village of Kholmogorskoye, Sharypovsky municipal district, and in Krasnoyarsk. The regional Ministry of Culture said that the modernization was carried out as part of the regional project “Libraries of the Future”.

In the Kholmogory Central Library named after L.N. Tolstoy was allocated separate spaces – a meeting room, reading room, information room and conference rooms. All premises are equipped with modern computer, multimedia and office equipment. High-speed Internet and software will allow you to hold events at a whole new level. The library collection was replenished with more than 1,700 copies of new books.

After opening, a youth digital studio and a family animation workshop will begin operating in the institution. A career guidance project will be launched for high school students, and an active longevity program “Generation X+” for older readers.

In Krasnoyarsk in the renovated City Children's Library-Branch No. 10 named after. V. Dubinina – “Library of Heroes” on Yunosti Street, 22, the space was divided into functional areas – a guest room, a spacious bookstore, conference rooms, a games room and a meeting room. The book fund was replenished with 2,049 new books and 53 board games.

Let us remind you that the “Libraries of the Future” project has been operating in the region since 2015. Since 2019, the modernization of institutions is also taking place within the framework of the “Culture” national project and from 2025 within the framework of the “Family” national project. In total, 84 libraries were updated during this time. Two more are expected to open by the end of the year.
