In Krasnoyarsk, women aged 25+ are most interested in the purchase of housing

Samara has become the third most popular city where residents of Russian million-plus cities are looking for real estate. In the first and second lines, Moscow and St. Petersburg expectedly fixed. Analysts of Megafon came to such conclusions, having studied impersonal traffic on real estate search sites in January-April 2025.

Residents of Russian millionaire cities are most often interested in the purchase and rent of housing in two capitals-Moscow and St. Petersburg, but Samara became the third in demand for the city in this rating after two permanent leaders. The top 5 also included Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.

At the same time, a general trend is traced in the context of each individual region: first of all, housing is always looking for housing in Moscow and in the city of residence itself. But the third place from the region to the region may differ. For example, Muscovites after their hometown and St. Petersburg are more likely to seek Krasnodar, and Smolensk was located in the third place after the Petersburgers in third place after two capitals.

According to statistics, men and women are practically equally equally engaged in the search for housing, the advantage of men is minimal (51 %), but the situation differs from the region to the region. For example, in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Krasnoyarsk, these are women, and in Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and Krasnodar-men. The most active age at which they are looking for housing-35-45 years, Krasnoyarsk “distinguished”-there are most interested in young people 25+.

During the study, statistics of real estate search on thematic sites in million-plus cities were studied, taking into account the requests of themselves in the city, and without them. So, the top 5 turned out to be unchanged in both approaches. For example, Samara occupies the third line both taking into account the interest of the Samaras themselves, and with the exclusion of them from among the users who select real estate in the city.
