

The right to vote has 29 million citizens. In addition to more than 32 thousand polling stations in Poland, 511 electoral districts for voting Poles are openly abroad. If none of the district election commissions continues voting, the electoral silence will end at 21.00.
Also, during the day, the National Electoral Commission of Poland will inform about the course of the election.
During the first conference, which was held at 9.30, the head of the National Electoral Bureau of Poland Rafal Tkach announced that the elections began at 7.00, without incidents. At the same time, the speaker of the Main Directorate of the Polish Police, Katerina Novak, said that today from 6.00 122 cases of violation of electoral silence were recorded.
The following conferences are scheduled for 13.30 and 18.00. In addition to voting information, they will announce data on the appearance of voters. At 22.00 the results of the first round of elections will summarize.

Previous presidential elections were held in 2020. The first tour was held on June 28. Then the current head of state Andrzej Duda received 43.7% of the vote, and his rival Tshaskovsky, candidate from the Opposition Party of Poland “Civil Platform” – 30.3%. In the second round, held on July 12, Duda won with a result of 51.03% (10,440,648 votes), Tshaskovsky received 48.97% (10 018 263).
