First speaking in English, Melnik said that the territory and sovereignty of Ukraine are not for sale.
“Our territory and our sovereignty are not for sale. We are not at the Christmas market. We are not at the notorious Cherkizovsky market,” the diplomat emphasized.
He also noted that Russia is seeking to force Ukraine to capitulate. After this, Melnik switched to Russian and addressed representatives of the Russian Federation.
“You, not Ukraine, will get the donut hole,” summed up the Ukrainian representative.
