A minor from Nazarovsk received a prison sentence for a drunken accident in which a passenger died

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court sentenced a minor driver accused of causing the death of a passenger through negligence.

The joint press service of the regional courts recalled that the accident occurred on July 9, 2025 near the village Altat, Nazarovsky district. The VAZ 21150 was driven by a minor driver who was intoxicated and did not have the right to drive a car. As a result of the accident, a minor passenger received injuries from which she died at the scene.

By the verdict of the Nazarovo City Court, the minor was found guilty of pp. “a”,”c” part 4 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic rules by a person driving a car, committed by a person in a state of intoxication who does not have the right to drive a vehicle, resulting in the death of a person through negligence). He was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in a correctional colony, and also onlyor driving rightsyat vehicles for a period of 2 years 4 months. In addition, the court's verdict allowed the claims, which were satisfied.
