In Severo-Yeniseisk, a man will be tried for attacking friends with a knife

In Severo-Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a local resident will stand trial for attacking two friends with a knife. The prosecutor's office spoke about this.

At night in October 2025 in Severo-Yeniseisk, a group of acquaintances drank beer in an apartment on Donskoy Street. Friendship quickly grew into conflict: a quarrel broke out on the balcony, which turned into a fight with broken bottles.

A 30-year-old local resident, being intoxicated and having numerous convictions for theft, robbery and theft, took a knife from the kitchen. First, he hit one of the participants in the conflict several times, and then the second. When the victims fell, the attacker did not calm down and continued to beat them with a knife.

The guys survived, but the injuries they received that night were extremely dangerous:

“He could have killed us, he beat us with a knife even when we had stopped fighting,” said one of the victims, confirming the absence of past conflicts with the aggressor.

The prosecutor confirmed the charge against the man of causing grievous bodily harm to two persons with the use of a weapon (clause “b”, part 3 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Despite the admission of guilt, repentance and requests from the victims for leniency, taking into account previous convictions, the repeat offender faces up to 12 years in prison.
