MTTECH and IT holding T1 agreed on joint development of technologies in urban transport

The parties announced a partnership within the framework of the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR). Cooperation between the T1 IT holding and the Moscow government IT company MTTECH is aimed at developing technological solutions and expanding the use of domestic IT platforms in the transport industry.

According to research T1 “Pulse of Digitalization” 2025, the transport industry is among the top 10 leaders in terms of digitalization level: ranks 5th in terms of the use of digital technologies and third in terms of volume investmentsth in artificial intelligence technology.

IT holding T1 has significant experience in implementing digital transformation projects for large corporate and government clients. Competencies IT holding cover the development and implementation of platform solutions, integrationautomation of business processes and support of complex IT landscapes, including objects of critical information infrastructuress. Among T1 projects in the transport industry are: introduction of biometrics in the St. Petersburg metro and business process automation V Sheremetyevo airport.

“For the T1 IT holding, cooperation with MTTECH is an opportunity to scale up the accumulated experience in large transport projects. The transport industry today is going through a stage of deep technological transformation, and participation in such initiatives allows us not only to transfer established competencies, but also to create, in synergy with a partner, new products and approaches that will be relevant not only in the transport industry, but also beyond it,” noted Mikhail Knigin, Deputy General Director for Software and Hardware Systems, T1 IT Holding.

It is important for us to cooperate with companies with proven expertise in the field of system integration, development and process automation, especially in projects where coordination of a large number of participants and high reliability are required. This affects the efficiency and safety of projects for end users – millions of urban transport passengers. Our task, which was set by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov, is to ensure absolute safety for users of urban transport when introducing innovations,” commented Zhanna Ermolina, General Director of MTTECH.
