The luxurious yacht Life Saga has arrived in Gdynia, captivating onlookers with its gleaming hull and impressive superstructure. According to reports, the yacht may be valued at around $50 million and could be owned by Russian businessman Gennady Ayvazyan.
The 65-meter yacht docked in Gdynia on the last day of August, making it one of the most impressive vessels to anchor at the President’s Pool area of the port. According to AIS data, it arrived from Klaipeda, Lithuania. As reported, Life Saga was built by the Italian Sea Group’s Admiral brand and launched in 2019. “The hull is constructed from steel, while the superstructure is made of aluminum. It can accommodate 12 guests in six cabins, along with a crew of up to 17,” the report stated.
Stopover on a Baltic Cruise
Gdynia is one of the stops for the yacht as part of its chartered cruise around the Baltic Sea. Marina Yacht Park is the only marina in the Gulf capable of accommodating such a large vessel, which required relocating other yachts and preparing the quayside accordingly. Grzegorz Tuszyński, owner of GT Yachting Consulting, noted that more yachts and visitors would significantly boost regional tourism and offer potential benefits for the local economy.
The yacht is equipped with various amenities for sailors, including spacious decks, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and recreational areas. Reports indicate that the weekly rental price starts at approximately €635,000, with additional costs for fuel, services, and port fees.
It is speculated that the yacht might belong to Gennady Ayvazyan, a businessman known in the coal industry. His name has appeared in online databases of yacht owners linked to Life Saga, although it remains unclear if this information is current and accurate.
