Ukraine managed to find interceptor missiles from partners that can be transferred to defense forces. Speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgiy Tikhy spoke about this at a briefing on June 10; the video was published by TSN.
“Certain additional funds have been found that require financial resources. Ukraine is actively working to find these resources, and some of them have already been attracted. When all the agreements are finalized, we hope that it will be possible to quickly deliver both the systems themselves and interceptor missiles to Ukraine,” said the Foreign Ministry speaker.
According to him, these interceptors are reaching their expiration date. He emphasized that the Ukrainian side is now conducting active negotiations in order to obtain them.
When asked whether we are talking about PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles for the Patriot system, Tikhy replied: “Both, and that, and one more thing.”
