On December 23, Ukrainian designer Andre Tan on Instagram named the colors of clothes that he does not recommend choosing for the New Year 2026 – the year of the Fire Horse.
“There are colors that definitely will not contribute to making 2026 an energetic and successful year,” the designer wrote.
He advised against pastel colors, as they can create a feeling of lethargy and passivity. According to Andre Tan, these shades do not add energy. He also criticized the colors white and gray.
The designer rejected blue and light blue clothes. In his opinion, “they can dim the fire of the Horse and pause the year.” Neon colors were also on the same list.
Andre Tan advised avoiding them not only on New Year's Eve, but throughout the year. The designer recommended celebrating the New Year in red clothes.
