A ceremony was held in the Krasnoyarsk administration in honor of the professional holiday of social workers. This was reported to the city administration.

27 employees of social services and non-profit organizations received honorary awards.

“There are more than a thousand non-profit organizations in Krasnoyarsk that are ready to help and give hope to those who especially need it. Every day you do everything possible to help people,” noted Head of the City Social Protection Department Olga Kachanova.

Among the recipients was Olga Valyukh, an employee of the MKU Center for Providing Social Support Measures to Residents of the City of Krasnoyarsk. She has been working at the center for the seventh year and helps fulfill the intangible wishes of children with special needs. For her active work, she was noted with a letter of gratitude from the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

“We recently fulfilled little Ulyana’s dream of looking into the backstage of a puppet theater. Pure, sincere happiness in the eyes of a child is my main reward,” shared Olga Valyukh.

The ceremony participants thanked social workers for helping children, the elderly, people with disabilities and everyone who needs support.

“Every day you meet people who are facing difficulties and provide them with support, care and hope. Your efforts do not go unnoticed,” said Ilya Zaitsev, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
