A married couple was shot while walking their dog in Mytishchi. The woman was able to escape, but her husband died.
According to Mash, everything happened the night before on 1st Sadovaya Street. 40-year-old Irina and 47-year-old Yuri Vershkov were walking their dog when a man with a gun appeared out of nowhere. He shot the couple at least five times, the man three times. The woman managed to escape and was picked up by a random taxi driver and taken to the hospital with leg injuries. Yuri died on the spot.
The attacker turned out to be the Vershkovs' neighbor. He was found dead nearby. Previously, he committed suicide. The Moscow Region Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case, and investigators are working on the spot.
