Russia has elected a new ombudsman to replace Moskalkova. SBU suspects her of deporting children


The State Duma of the aggressor country, Russia, approved the candidacy of deputy from the A Just Russia party, Yana Lantratova, for the post of Commissioner for Human Rights in the country. The Russian propaganda publication TASS reported this on May 14.

In this position, she will replace Tatyana Moskalkova, whose ten-year term expired at the end of April.

At a meeting of the State Duma on May 14, Lantratova took the oath.

Three candidates for this position were submitted to the State Duma for consideration, but Lantratova was considered the main contender. According to Meduza, Russian propagandist Nikita Mikhalkov actively lobbied for her as an ombudsman.
