The giants are preparing for the largest technology fair

Already on May 20, 2025, the great festival of the IT industry, i.e. the next edition of the Computex fair, will begin in Taipei. The organizers announce over 1,400 exhibitors from 27 countries, including semiconductor manufacturers, graphics cards and smartphones. The slogan “Ai Next” leaves no doubt that artificial intelligence will play a key role here.
According to the organizers, the event in the capital of Taiwan is to once again gather the largest players of the IT industry and consumer electronics from around the world. Representatives of over 1,400 companies from 27 countries, including NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, MediaTek, Foxconn, TSMC and Qualcomm, are to present solutions designed for future applications related to AI. The theme, defined as “AI Next”, is to emphasize the importance of intelligent technologies in determining the direction of global development of the industry.
Among the speakers
An important point of this year's fair will be the presence of famous personalities, such as Jensen Huang from Nvidia, Rick Tsai representing MediaTek, Jack Hynh from AMD and Young Liu standing at the head of Foxconna. Specialists from Intel and TSMC are also to appear, and according to experts from ITRESELLER it is Computex that remains a place where the most groundbreaking partnerships and product premieres are announced. The position of Taiwan as a world semiconductor production center further strengthens the global role of this event.
New standards
According to Kitguru, this year's edition will not lack loud hardware debuts, which have already obtained nominations at the European Hardware Awards 2025. The most emotions are the announced demonstration of the GeForce RTX 5070, 5080 and top 5090 graphics cards from Nvidia, to set new standards in the field of gaming and the use of artificial intelligence. Kitguru emphasizes that this line line can designate the future development path of the entire GPU industry.
Laptops and smartphones with built -in AI
Market analysts indicate that one of the key attractions will be the premiere laptops offered by companies such as Acer, Asus and Lenovo. These devices are to use dedicated AI systems, which in practice will allow you to perform advanced computing operations without having to connect to the cloud. The introduction of extensive functions of artificial intelligence in portable computers has a chance to completely change our approach to office tasks and games.
Smartphone manufacturers have also planned a large premiere set, among which the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max, Google Pixel 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra stand out. According to Tom's Hardware, the latest processors and specialized NPU systems will allow ultra -flesh image recognition and live translation, without having to send data to external servers. According to many experts, this is a significant step towards the full autonomy of mobile devices.
Breakthrough in processors and graphics cards
It also promises to be a breakthrough on the processor market for personal computers, because Nvidia and MediaTek plan to show ARM N1 and N1X systems. These chips are to combine ARM cores with the author's NVIDIA graphics, offering high computing power and efficiency in AI applications. This solution can threaten the dominant position of Qualcomm among Windows-On-Arm devices and affect the scale of price and laptop efficiency with supporting advanced algorithms.
In response to intensive competition, Intel will present the Arc B770 graphics card based on Battlemage architecture. According to leaks, the company intends to offer high performance in both games and in loads using AI, focusing on minimizing energy consumption. It is expected that this premiere will allow Intel to compete better with AMD and Nvidia.
An interesting proposition for enthusiasts of efficient equipment is also prepared by EK, which wants to present advanced liquid cooling systems, capable of servicing the increasingly higher energy requirements of AI computers. According to Tom's Hardware, these solutions will be crucial in ensuring the stability and life of the latest generation workstations.
Great fair in the shade of geopolitics
The importance of this year's Computex is not limited to technology, because the growing commercial and political tensions clearly outline in the background.
Taiwan is currently responsible for 60 percent. world production of semiconductors, and in the sector of the most advanced chips, its share reaches 90 percent. After the change in the White House and the introduction of 32 % customs duties on Taiwanese goods, excluding semiconductors, the island authorities declare strengthening cooperation with the United States, Japan and the European Union. At the same time, initiatives are announced to diversify supply chains to become independent of the Chinese market.
As Tom's Hardware reminds, the key equipment manufacturers compete today about who will more effectively combine AI accelerators with energy -saving processors and graphics cards. At the same time, the appearance of new solutions from MediaTek or ARM can further accelerate the evolution of the entire market and have a positive effect on prices. This year's edition, focused on artificial intelligence, robotics and devices of the future, will show whether Taiwan will be able to maintain its unique position, and the industry will meet the challenges resulting from political tensions and rapid technological progress.
