Mindich offered $1 billion for 50% of Fire Point shares – co-founder of the company

On May 13, the chief designer and co-founder of Fire Point, Denis Shtilerman, told how in August last year he refused to sell 50% of the company to businessman Timur Mindich, who appears in the NABU “Midas” special operation as one of the suspects. The video was broadcast on YouTube by MP from European Solidarity Alexey Goncharenko.

Shtilerman made his statement during an open meeting of the temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Previously, he had already talked about Mindich’s intention to buy half of the company’s shares, but then he allegedly offered too little money.

This time, the designer noted that at first the businessman offered $100 million for 50% of Fire Point, but subsequently the amount of the offer increased.

“The last offer was quite large – somewhere a little less than $1 billion,” Stilerman said. However, the company refused to sell his shares to him.

According to him, the last time he spoke with Mindich was in January 2026.

On April 28, Ukrayinska Pravda published new transcripts of the so-called Mindich tapes, in which Mindich (allegedly) complained to then-Minister of Defense and now NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov that Fire Point was underfunded and discussed selling part of the company to investors.
