In Krasnoyarsk, a court sentenced a man who raped his mother.
According to the joint press service of the regional courts, a 39-year-old man, previously convicted of rape and murder, served almost 14 years in a colony and was released in mid-December 2025. In January of this year, he again committed rape and other sexual assault against his mother.
The Kirovsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk found the man guilty under Part 1 of Art. 131, part 2 art. 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rape, i.e. committing sexual intercourse with the use of violence against the victim and committing other acts of a sexual nature with the use of violence against the victim) and sentenced him to 5 years in prison.
“According to the totality of sentences, the unserved part of the additional punishment imposed by the verdict of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court was fully added to the imposed punishment, and a final sentence of 5 years of imprisonment with restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year 4 months 19 days was imposed. The place where the sentence of imprisonment will be served is a high-security correctional colony,” the court’s press service clarified.
