Container transportation on Krasnodar Railways increased by almost 10% in January-September

Over the first 9 months of 2025, 185.8 thousand TEU containers were transported to KrasRussian Railways in all types of traffic, which exceeds the result of the same period last year by 9.8%.

68.5 thousand TEUs were sent in domestic traffic (+8.5% compared to January-September 2024), in export traffic – 117.3 thousand TEUs (+10.5%).

The number of loaded containers sent in all types of traffic increased by 12.1% and amounted to 129.7 thousand TEU (2 million 159 thousand tons of cargo were transported, with an increase of 14.7%).

At the same time, there was an increase in container transportation:

  • non-ferrous metals – 31 thousand TEU (an increase of 1.5 times compared to the level of January-September last year);

  • chemicals and soda – 5.4 thousand TEU (+6.6%);

  • other and groupage cargo – 4.3 thousand TEU (2 times increase);

  • other food products – 2.7 thousand TEU (+38.4%);

  • construction cargo – 2.5 thousand TEU (+10.6%);

  • non-ferrous ores and sulfur raw materials – 2.3 thousand TEU (an increase of more than 4.4 times).
