1 April 13:03

During the regional week, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexander Drozdov inspected the renovation of educational institutions in the Central region of Krasnoyarsk.

In Krasnoyarsk, a large-scale renovation of educational institutions continues under the New School party project. According to the federal program, which United Russia is implementing together with the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the branch of the Pokrovsky educational complex on Stepan Razin is being overhauled. Previously, Gymnasium No. 12 was located in the 1958 building.

According to the plan, all communications, windows and doors in the room will be replaced, modern wall decoration will be made, the roof and fencing will be updated. The educational premises will be equipped with new equipment and security systems. Then the school yard and sports ground will be landscaped. All restoration work is planned to be completed by September 1st. At the moment, dismantling work is almost completed.

Another site where work is in full swing is the territory of school No. 51. The three-story building served for more than 50 years, was declared unsafe, and was demolished. A modular building will be built in its place. The premises will have two blocks: a study block with 10 classrooms and a library, a sports block with locker rooms, and a catering unit. Children from 1st to 9th grade will study there. On the school grounds there will be a sports ground for active recreation and outdoor sports.

Alexander Drozdov, together with residents, representatives of the education department of the city of Krasnoyarsk, and the developer, checked the progress of work at the sites:

“The constant priority of the people's program of United Russia is control over the construction and overhaul of schools. Under the federal program, funding has been allocated for these purposes, and funds from the regional and city budgets are also allocated. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory we approach these tasks in a comprehensive manner; not only buildings are being repaired, but also landscaping of the territory, which is not included in the federal program, and new equipment are being provided. I checked two sites in the Central region and was generally satisfied with the progress of the work. Site No. 2 of the Pokrovsky complex is at a high level of completion; the roof is being repaired and the floors are being poured. School 51 is an object with history; we have been trying to overhaul this school for a long time, but inspections showed that it is in disrepair. Finally, demolition of the old building has begun and construction of a completely new school will begin on this site. We will continue monitoring.”

New facilities will help relieve the burden on educational institutions in the district. The branch of the Pokrovsky educational complex on Stepan Razin is planned to be opened by September 1 of this year, and the new modular school in 2027.

“The long journey will end with a good result. Pokrovka, an important microdistrict with a large number of residents and families with children, will acquire two new buildings and children will be comfortable studying,” said Andrey Sigida, deputy head of the department of social development of the Krasnoyarsk city administration.

Let us note that the construction of new schools is one of the priorities of the people's program of United Russia. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is actively participating in the federal project “New School”; more than 361 billion rubles are allocated for education in the region’s budget for 2026-2028; the priority is the modernization and renovation of schools and buildings of secondary vocational education institutions, meals for schoolchildren, and the construction of kindergartens.
