In Krasnoyarsk, the Immortal Regiment was held in a traditional format after a two -year break. The column united more than 47 thousand citizens.
In the anniversary year of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the action was first held on the right bank. Participants in the procession passed from the memorial “Krasnoyarsk – the city of labor valor” along the streets of the instrumental, youth, Malakhovskaya and the avenue named after newspapers “Krasnoyarsk Worker”. The length of the path was about two and a half kilometers.
“I go to the parade every year. They really missed the “Immortal Regiment”, worried, they wanted it to take place, ”Tatyana Ignatova shared with the Newslab correspondent.
“Victory volunteers” helped organize the action. They built a column, controlled the procession, monitored the state of health of the participants and modified the “Immortal Regiment” in the online format.
