Gifted with external and vocal abilities
Oksana Khozhay had a bright appearance and a luxurious figure: a blue-eyed blonde with curvaceous figures and a thin waist.
“I am a beautiful woman who, by the time I’m not quite 40, hasn’t had a single plastic surgery, a lift, I haven’t had my ribs removed, I haven’t had my legs lengthened, I haven’t had implants implanted. My type is similar to Marilyn Monroe – a miniature sexy blonde: leg size 35, bust size 5, thin bones and waist, wide hips. Particularly close attention from those around me is caused by my exciting breasts – isn’t it silicone? For anyone who doubts, I can provide my mother’s photo – she’s a size six,” Khozhai said in an interview with Gordon Boulevard.

The peak of Khozhay’s fame came in the 1990s, when the hit parade “Territory A” thundered throughout Ukraine. But by the 2000s, the program's popularity began to decline sharply. Many performers were not ready for this.
Khozhay, comparing herself to Monroe, stated that, unlike the American superstar, she was not appreciated on the stage. Although in the history of Ukrainian show business, Khozhai is the only representative from Ukraine in the troupe of the famous Parisian cabaret “Moulin Rouge”.
Got sick after the death of a loved one
In 2006, the singer’s health condition deteriorated sharply. She began to lose weight and her skin began to dry out. Doctors diagnosed a rare disease – Shagren's disease. This is an eutoimmune disease in which a person's immune system rejects his own body.
As the performer herself said in an interview with Gordon Boulevard, the trigger was the extreme stress she experienced in connection with the death of her father.
“With this disease, a person’s immune system attacks the cells of the body, it is also called immune schizophrenia. When I rushed after my dad into the grave, not remembering myself from grief, the defense system defended me: I survived, I didn’t go crazy. But it went away and, so to speak, was reprogrammed. I would be very happy to share my immunity with people who have HIV: I don’t need that much! But this, as you understand, is impossible,” she explained. Go.
She assured that she was damaged
Khozhay stated that she knew the person who damaged her. She saw the reason as envy.
“They often stare at me. But I am a strong person, I know how to resist the evil eye. I’ll read the Lord’s Prayer, cross myself, wash myself with holy water, call my mother – and everything is in order. At home there is a whole corner with icons and prayers. I am a non-conflict, non-aggressive person: I respond to evil only with good. They light me “to death”, and I give them a candle for their health,” said Khozhay.
The singer dreamed of a child, but she was unable to become a mother in either her first or second marriage: miscarriages constantly occurred.
In recent years, Khozhai has come to faith. This happened after a trip with her husband to Pochaev, when she felt relieved.
She fought to the last and… asked to be buried beautiful
Khozhay herself admitted that she actually began to dry out alive. She lived constantly with pain, but tried to move so that her body did not literally turn into a mummy.
The artist consciously did not take drugs for pain relief. “I flatly refused them: I’ve never taken drugs in my life and I don’t intend to. I’d rather suffer from illness than from withdrawal symptoms. Thank God, over the years in show business I’ve seen enough of how people are broken – God forbid!” – she confessed.
On March 17, 2013, Khozhai died. She was 48 years old.
“The Lord forgave Oksanochka on Forgiveness Sunday,” said the singer’s mother Tatyana Anatolyevna. “I promised her that I would follow her so that she would not be afraid there. I had already prepared everything for this, but my son-in-law Vitalik stopped me. Before her death, Oksana asked to make her beautiful in the coffin.”
Khozhay was buried in the city of Borzna, Chernigov region, where her mother lived.
