The fewest vacancies since the first year of the pandemic. Who else are employers looking for?

According to the latest calculations by the Central Statistical Office, in the fourth quarter of last year in Poland only 0.71 percent of the jobs already created, there were vacancies and waiting for an employee. If you look back, the rate was so low only during crisis periods.
Most recently – in the fourth quarter of 2020, when the pandemic was raging and the economy had limited operating options. Even earlier, it was in 2015, when the government in Poland was changing and Beata Szydło and her government elected by PiS took over from Donald Tusk, and unemployment was just falling from double-digit levels.
This suggests that we are in a difficult moment. There is actually an employer's market in place. Although unemployment is relatively low, it is very difficult to find a new one if you lose your job.
