New survey on CPK. Poles assessed the translations of PiS MP Robert Telus


The case concerns a plot of 160 hectares in the town of Zabłotnia, belonging to the National Center for Agricultural Support. The property – strategic from the point of view of the planned CPK infrastructure – was sold at the end of 2023 for PLN 22.8 million to Piotr Wielgomas, vice-president of the Dawtona processing company.

The transaction was made just before the change of government after the parliamentary elections. The value of the land was estimated to increase up to PLN 400 million, which raised questions about the circumstances of its sale.
In a statement on Sunday, Telus firmly rejected the allegations and assured that it had no knowledge of the transaction. “There is no signature of mine in the documents relating to this case,” he emphasized, pointing out that attempts to link him with the controversial decision are an element of “manipulation and lies.”
In the meantime, the PiS leadership established a special party commission to investigate the matter, headed by former Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek. Telus appeared at the team meeting, but after its conclusion he refused to comment to the media.

However, public opinion assessed the version of events presented by the former minister with great suspicion. As much as 59.4 percent respondents do not believe that Telus had no information about the sale of the plot. Only 15.7% expressed confidence in his words. respondents, and almost every fourth respondent (24.9%) refrained from making a clear assessment.
On Wednesday, it was announced that the state had negotiated an agreement with the buyer of the land – the plot was to be returned to the State Treasury for the original purchase price.. KOWR informed that appropriate arrangements had been signed with Piotr Wielgomas.
The SW Research study was conducted using the CAWI method on November 4–5, 2025, on a representative sample of 828 adult Poles.
