The leaders of Germany, France and Great Britain threatened Iran with military measures


The statement stressed that Tehran's actions are directed against close allies of the three countries and pose a threat to their military personnel and civilian populations throughout the region.

The heads of state called on Iran to immediately stop such attacks. They also declared their intention to take the necessary measures to protect their own interests and the interests of their allies. If necessary, they promise to provide “proportional defensive action” to neutralize Iran’s ability to launch missiles and drones by striking the launch sites.

In addition, the parties agreed to coordinate further steps with the United States and allies in the region.

Context

On the morning of February 28, Israel announced the military operation “Lion's Roar” in Iran. In the USA it was called “Epic Fury”. “Trump has stated his intention to protect the American people by eliminating the immediate threats posed by the Iranian regime.”

Tehran threatened a “crushing” blow in response. Explosions were later recorded in several countries in the Middle East where there are American military bases – in Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE and Bahrain.

Iranian state television announced that a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28 Ayatollah Ali Khamenei died, his residence received significant damage.

On March 1, the Iranian army began a new wave of attacks on the countries of the Middle East. Explosions occurred in Israel, Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar), Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq.
