Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, announced on Telegram that at least 21 people, including a child, were injured in Dnipro.
Five apartment blocks and business buildings were damaged in the city; numerous fires broke out. Rescuers are still looking for five people who are most likely under the rubble. The bodies of two people were recovered from the ruins.
Russia's night attack on Kharkov
In Kharkov, northeastern Ukraine, drones hit apartment blocks and civil infrastructure facilities. The damage included: gas pipeline. The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported two injured people, including a 1.5-year-old boy.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia used 47 various types of missiles and 619 drones in night and morning attacks. 610 air attack assets were destroyed or disabled.
Massive Russian attack. Poland picked up fighters
As noted in the announcement, these actions were of a preventive nature and were aimed at securing the airspace and its protection, in particular in areas adjacent to the threatened areas. No violation of the Polish airspace was observed, the RSZ Operational Command announced in a statement.
