Since October 1, 2025, 698 people have applied to medical institutions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory with frostbite and hypothermia. Over the past week, the number of victims increased by 46 people. This data is provided by the regional territorial center for disaster medicine.
Total from October 1 363 patientA received assistance on an outpatient basis (+37 per week), 314 patientsov were hospitalized (+8 per week), 21 Human died in hospitals (+1 per week).
Doctors remind you that if you suspect frostbite or hypothermia, you must take the following measures:
- immediately go into any warm room;
- remove frozen clothes and shoes;
- Do not rub frostbitten areas with snow or cloth! This injures the skin;
- warm up gradually. Drink warm (not hot!) sweet tea. You can take a warm, but not hot, bath or apply a warm (body temperature) bandage to the affected areas;
- If sensitivity is not restored or blisters appear, consult a doctor.
