Prosecutor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Roman Tyutyunik made an accusation in the criminal trial of a thief in law from Kazan.

According to the supervisory authority, in 2014, in a Chelyabinsk prison, a resident of Kazan, an inveterate repeat offender with a well-known past in criminal circles, decided to legitimize his “status” and take the highest position in the criminal hierarchy. Being the custodian of thieves' customs, his zeal in their veneration earned him recognition from well-known criminal authorities. They crowned him, raising him to the top of an invisible pyramid.

Tattoos of eight-pointed stars on his knees became his mark, which served as a sign of power in the criminal world. By his sole decision, he punished and encouraged his charges, acted as an arbiter in their conflicts, ensured strict compliance with the “concepts” and deprived the offenders of their status. Even after the introduction of a state ban on such roles, he did not give up his “status”. Moving from zone to zone – from Ulyanovsk to Krasnoyarsk, he continued to spread his criminal influence.

After arriving in the Krasnoyarsk colony, his illegal status was given a legal assessment, a criminal case was initiated, and the prosecutor confirmed the charge of occupying a high position in the criminal hierarchy (Article 210.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

“In the cell, he explained the rules of conduct to newcomers, prohibited conversations about himself and his fellow prisoners under threat of reprisals. He publicly demoted one of the convicts in the hierarchy, confirming his power. The intercepted conversation paints a picture: “I'm a thief… have you heard about this? Get ready so that there are no incidents. Neither you nor I need any problems.” The “knitted” new guy asked to be moved in a panic, but he just nodded: no one needs unnecessary complications,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Today, the Krasnoyarsk Regional Court began considering the criminal case. To ensure that criminal traditions do not violate order and discipline in correctional institutions, the state prosecution is personally supported by the regional prosecutor. He announced the charges and determined the procedure for examining the evidence.

The next court hearing is scheduled for March 3, 2026.
