The support for people with ZUS disabilities began to be paid in 2024. This is a social benefit that can reach over 4,000 per month. PLN, and its receipt is not dependent on the amount of remuneration.

As a reminder: The purpose of the supporting benefit is to provide disabled, dependent and having support, assistance for a partial coverage of expenses related to satisfying their special life needs.
A person at the age of 18 is entitled to support, who has a decision setting the level of support. This level – as the Ministry of Social Policy explained – is at level 70 to 100 points on a scale of support.
As Pulshr.pl explains, the support benefit is introduced in three stages, from 2024:
- Stage I – from January 1, 2024. – supporting benefit available to people with disabilities with the highest levels of support, i.e. from 87 to 100 points
- Stage II – from January 1, 2025. – supporting benefit also available for people with disabilities with subsequent levels of support, i.e. from 78 to 86 points
- Stage III – from January 1, 2026. – A supporting benefit will also be available to people with disabilities with other entitlement levels of support for support, i.e. from 70 to 77 points.
Up to 4,000 PLN 134 regardless of income. On June 4, payments start
The Social Insurance Institution explained that the amount of the support benefit is calculated as a percentage of social pension depending on the determined level of support need. It can range from 40 to 220 percent. social pension.
In practice, this translates into the following conversion:
- 95-100 points-220 percent social pension;
- 90-94 points-180 percent pensions,
- 85-89 points-120 percent pensions,
- 80-84 points-80 percent pensions,
- 75-79 points-60 percent pensions,
- 70-74 points-40 percent pensions.

Before valorisation of pensions on March 1, a social pension was equal to 1 thousand. PLN 780.96, while the supporting benefit was a maximum of 3 thousand. PLN 920 and a minimum of PLN 712.
From March 1, 2025, the social pension is higher and amounts to 1 thousand. PLN 878.91, which translated into an increase in the amount of support, whose maximum amount is currently 4,000. PLN 133.60, and a minimum of PLN 751.56.
