To heat Kyiv hospitals, Kievteploenergo deployed movable mobile boiler houses.
The enterprise has 69 such boiler houses. They run on diesel fuel.
Currently, they are connected to six medical institutions in different areas of the capital: Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 9, Maternity Hospital No. 1, Perinatal Center, City Clinical Hospital No. 2, Children's Hospital No. 2 and a boarding house for labor veterans.
According to Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Alexei Kuleba, more than 40% of the population of Kyiv is now without heat.
Context
The aggressor country of the Russian Federation massively attacked Ukraine at night, including Kyiv region. The main target of the Russian attack was Kyiv – energy and civil infrastructure, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky informed.
According to the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops fired 519 drones and 40 missiles of various types into Ukraine, most of which were neutralized by air defense. However, in the capital as a result of the attack one person died and more than 30 people were injured.
