The ruble exchange rate may be 85-88 rubles per dollar at the end of 2026.
An updated forecast for the national currency exchange rate was given by VTB My Investments analysts during the VTB Investment Forum “RUSSIA CALLING!” Saint Petersburg”.
“We now believe that the ruble will be somewhat stronger than previously expected. Nevertheless, we expect a gradual weakening of the ruble. Our range at the end of the year is 85-88 rubles per dollar,” said VTB My Investments investment strategist Alexey Kornilov.
Now, according to VTB My Investments estimates, the ruble has strengthened by 15-20% of the average values, the expert emphasized.
