This year, at the Victory Parade on Red Square there will be no column of military equipment, as well as students of the Suvorov and Nakhimov schools and cadet corps.

According to the Ministry of Defense, this decision was made due to the “current operational situation.” Military equipment will not participate in the procession for the first time since 2007.

The walking column will include military personnel from higher military educational institutions of all branches and branches of the military. The aviation part of the parade will take place: aircraft of aerobatic teams will fly over Red Square, and in the finale Su-25 attack aircraft will paint the sky in the colors of the Russian flag.

The broadcast will also show the work of military personnel who perform tasks in the special military operation zone, carry out combat duty and serve, including at control points of the Strategic Missile Forces, Aerospace Forces and on Navy ships.
