A street exhibition dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day has opened in the Dzerzhinsky park in Krasnoyarsk. This was announced by the head of the press and mass communications agency of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irina Brezhneva.

The stands display photographs of Krasnoyarsk residents – participants in the Great Patriotic War, internationalist soldiers, soldiers of the Northern Military District, career military personnel and representatives of peaceful professions who stand guard over the Motherland every day.

Some of the photographs are being published for the first time, including footage taken by Russian soldiers on the front line. Portraits of Great Patriotic War veterans were provided by the Museum of Local Lore.

The exhibition will run until the end of March.
